Principal Revenues Officer

Hackney Council are looking for a Revenues Team Leader.

The ideal candidate will match the below criteria:

To work with and support the council tax Revenues Manager in all aspects of the management of the Council Tax Team, to include valuation, billing, collection and recovery to committal stage. Your key objectives will be to deputise for the Revenues Manager in their absence, organise and prioritise the Team’s work to maximise income due from council tax. To also ensure there are proper controls in place and contribute to the system of performance management.

To deal with customer accounts and queries, including written correspondence and phone calls accurately and within timescales to achieve high levels of council tax collection.

recent use of ACADEMY is a must, also the ideal candidate will have managed the contract is initially for 3 months but will more than likely be extended.
