Senior Pitch Designer

FRAME is recruiting for a fantastic Commercial Fit-out company located in the Berkshire area. Our client is looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Pitch Designer to add value to their creative team.

The successful designer will be working on a range of projects including designing new offices for companies moving in to a new workspace or space planning and refurbishing existing workplaces to become more efficient for their occupants.

The role encompasses and demands skills gained from working concept to completion. Applicants should have experience of taking briefs, relaying this to a team, designing initial thoughts either by hand or in SketchUp/Photoshop, developing these initial designs in AutoCAD, presenting these developed designs back to the client and then directing the team on changes to designs and making sure these are implemented correctly. The role will then involve going on to site, making sure designs are being constructed as instructed and ensuring the client is happy with the quality of construction. Final client handover will be worked on alongside Directors and then the whole process begins again!

Applicants should be confident designing and explaining a concept that fits a client’s brief and budget. Communication is of the utmost importance as taking a client brief and really understanding their needs is one of the pillars of my client’s mission statement. The appointed person will be directing and guiding Visualisers and Designers on large scale projects that they will heading up. Pitching to clients to win business will be a large part of the role, so presentation and articulation are key to a successful application.
