Brief Outline:
Main Contractor is seeking an Area Health & Safety Manager to cover Major Projects across London and South East due to a number of new developments

Established for over 150 years, my client is an Internationally well-known and highly reputable main contractor. They have won many awards and are among the top main contractors in the country
About the Role:
* Visit a wide variety of live construction and civil engineering projects
* Participate in Board Meetings and offer regular Health & Safety reports
* Manage site based Health & Safety advisors on all sites within jurisdiction
* Strategically improve Health & Safety systems through regular site visits and site monitoring
* Inspect and advise on complex and high risk temporary works
* Could involve travelling across Southern England and Wales with overnight stays
About the Candidate:
* Experience of projects in excess of £30m preferred
* Good understanding and knowledge of temporary works procedures, British Standards and auditing compliance
* Strong IT skills with a confident personality combined with ability to give high quality presentations to a wide range of audiences
* Knowledge of Behavioral Safety Programme advantageous
* Chartered Member of IOSH with NEBOSH Diploma preferred
* Excellent technical knowledge of construction and working knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard is highly desirable
