Buyer

Salary: £31,200 per year

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a Well-established and successful Wholesale group to support in their Recruitment for a Buyer in response to growth and development within the current team. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
-Procuring unique product ranges from Global suppliers
-Negotiating with suppliers to receive the best product, price and terms
-Building strong relationships and ensuring regular communication with Key Supplier contacts
-Taking responsibility for supplier and product set up, supplier audits and stock issues
-Work with Product Management during product range reviews to ensure that the Groups ranges operate efficiently and satisfy sales channel requirements.
-Understand and monitor product and supplier compliance in line with company terms and conditions and keep up to date with differences between EU and UK product certification.

The suitable candidate for this role will have the following attributes:
-Strong negotiation skills and experience in a Buying role
-Experience of importing products – particularly from the Far East
-The ability to work independently
-Pro-active and hardworking
-Analytical and organized
