Buyer

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

Our client is a leading construction company specialising in the manufacture of pre-fabricated buildings and due to their continued expansion Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Buyer.

The Role:

Reporting to the Directors you will be responsible for the sourcing of all supplies of materials and products required for the manufacture of pre-fabricated buildings. Duties will include but is not limited to the following

Identify / source reliable suppliers of a wide range of components and materials
Establish accurate lead times and material /component specifications with the supply chain
Work closely with production and technical team to ensure all supply is delivered on time and to required specification
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with supply chain and monitor their performanceCandidate:

You will be an experienced Buyer ideally with previous experience in the construction or manufacturing sectors.
Experience in buying materials and components for low volume / high quality fabrications is essential.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 40 hrs
