Mechanical Design Engineer – 6 Month Contract

Salary: £30 – £33.6 per hour

We are looking for an exceptional Contract Mechanical Engineer who can…

* Create / update drawings according to company guidelines.

* Create / update bills of materials.

* Review Engineering Change Requests and action Engineering Change orders.

* Review of drawings for any manufactured items to confirm that all parts meet the required standards/directives.

* Collaborating with other departments to ensure any changes are approved and released to production in a timely fashion.

What will you bring to the team:

* Bachelor of Science / Engineering degree required or equivalent.

* Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience.

* Solid Autodesk Inventor / AutoCAD skills.

* Competent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

* Proven experience of working in diligent role requiring solid administration skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to multi-task, work alone and work under pressure along with strong communication skills (verbal, written)

* Ability to attend the Crewe office and also work remotely.

* Understanding of structuring of an ERP system e.g. Bills of materials, Child parts, Parent parts etc.

* Previous experience of business systems.
