Sous Chef

We are looking for a sous chef to complete our new look team.

We are an independent award winning and progressive volume “gastro style” pub eatery, that prides itself on fresh local produce, so knowledge of seasonal availability and local purchasing is a must.

The role will assist the head chef in order to drive the standards and consistency forwards whilst maintaining profit conversion and will naturally involve the statutory paperwork to maintain our current 5* rating.

You will have had similar previous experience in a similar role or be able to demonstrate that you are ready for this position through your experience and will be hungry to gain the necessary experience for the next step to head chef.

Ideally you will have had experience within different sections in a fine dining / top end gastro style operation but also experience within volume operations.

Accommodation is not provided, and this is reflected in the package, although a very short term solution maybe possible. It would therefore be desirable if you had a driving license and car, although this is not essential.
