Sous Chef

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client, a well-known busy family-owned restaurant in St Helens are looking for an experienced and skilled chef to help complement their busy team. The team currently serves an increasing demand and also provides a first-class takeaway service.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in high quality food prep and have held a similar position in a busy restaurant environment.

Previous experience in the preparation and production of high quality fresh food together with formal training in the correct food prep methods and food hygiene are must-have requirements of this role.

Working hours include the following:-

Tues/Wed/Thurs – 5pm to 11pm

Fri – 5pm to 11pm

Sat – 11am to 11pm

Sun – 11am to 10pm

Statutory breaks will be included in the above working hours.

Experience of GREEK and MEDITERRANEAN food production will be an advantage for this position.

A starting salary of £26,000is offered to the successful candidate however, this can be increased following a satisfactory probation period of 3 months.
