CNC Turner Operator

My client in Redditch is seeking CNC Operators on a permanent basis earning £26,000 per year dependant on experience. This will be working shifts – 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm Monday – Friday. My client is a sub contractor for the Automotive Industry and supply turned parts and precision engineered machine components.

As a Operator you will be required to:
Manage your own quality
Maintain and set up machines
Offset change and inserts
Change drills and taps
Load material onto the machine
Top up coolant and maintain oil etc
You will be working on small batch (50) and will be required to work between 3 – 6 machines at one time.

The machines are sliding head and fixed head all using Fanuc Controls.
