This is a fantastic opportunity for you an experienced PHP Developer with excellent PHP and SQL skills with a “Can Do” attitude to join an established growing organisation based in South Wales. You will be working within in a team to develop in-house PHP based software for a large international business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Create new PHP based social network applications in line with business requirements
*Maintain and support existing applications used by a variety of clients.
*Use third party tools to configure and maintain certain back office systems.
*Adhere to defined coding standards.
*Test own work to ensure PHP developed solutions meet requirements.
*Work with colleagues to discuss solutions to problems and agree on techniques to be implemented.
*Work with the Management Team to identify solutions to problems, to identify risks to the success of projects and to ensure business deadlines are met
*Complete and maintain any necessary documentation related to processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

*Symphony 2 and its libraries (ideally)
*PHP (advanced senior level)
*GitHub (versioning)
*IDE – e.g. Visual Studio
*API development (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+)
*HTML
*SQL Server Business Intelligence (SSIS/SSRS)
*Stored Procedures
*Relational Databases
*Content Management Systems
*SEO Optimization (understanding from a development view)
*SVN Source Control (Ankh/Tortoise)
*Work Ticket Management
