My client has a Senior Finance Business Partner position for their company in Northwich Cheshire. The role involves providing financial planning, analysis and decision support to the company directors to drive the execution of business plans and ensure profitable and sustainable growth within the group.

Principle responsibilities

* Partner with the Business including members of the Senior Leadership Team to build a detailed understanding of the P&L thus turning financial information into understandable reports that are then used to drive value for the group business.

* Identify risks and opportunities and provide decision support and analytics to drive step change improvements.

* Challenge the business and drive decisions by understanding variances, helping the business to manage spend and creating corrective action plans where necessary.

* Build bottom-up department budgets and forecasts, understanding the key challenges facing the business and alignment with Group targets

* Drive in-year delivery of plans/forecasts by partnering with the business to deliver specific cost actions as required across the group

* Provide modelling support of business case/investments

* Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process across the group and business

* Evaluate and challenge on the performance od sales, net income and direct costs

Candidate Requirements

* This role requires a high level of diplomacy, intelligence, relationship management and influencing skills. It is essential that candidates have a good level of commercial experience along with business partnering background.

* A broad range of accountancy skills – fully qualifies accountant with CCAB recognised qualification

* ACA, CIMA or ACCA

* Strong analytical with the ability to effectively summarise and interpret data to senior non finance business leaders

* The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Commercial Acumen

* A high-impact individual who is comfortable working with senior management and has excellent communications and influencing skills

* Self-motivated, high-energy and adaptable skills with the ability to collaborate and work with other teams
