THE COMPANY

Our client is a dedicated international manufacturer of specialist precision materials with customers located in over 70 countries around the globe. They operate through a team of professional and friendly business managers who are ably assisted by a worldwide network of distributors and service partners. Due to an increase in global orders and expansion, they urgently need to recruit several CNC Miller and CNC Turners.

THE POSITION

The client is looking to recruit CNC Miller and CNC Turners and manual CMM machinists. The role is to safely set and operate CNC machinery, producing high standard machined components to the correct tolerances.

1. 3 axis, 4 axis or 5 axis knowledge and experience required.
2. Able to understand engineering diagrams and drawings.
3. Operate lathes, milling machines and other workshop equipment.
4. Operate CNC and possibly manual CMM machines.
5. Ensure Health & Safety guidelines and practises are maintained and developed.
6. Safely load and unload machine components.
7. Identify and develop manufacturing improvements and procedures.
8. Check finished work pieces to ensure they meet the required quality standards.

NB – The CNC Millers/ CNC Turners will be working shifts. The hours are: 06:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday and then 14:00 to 23:00 Monday to Thursday with Friday off! Basically, this will be a 37.50 working week.
