Interim HR Manager- 12 Month FTC

The role requires an experienced HR Manager to join the company cover on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be a member of the Executive Management Team and will represent the department during the monthly board meetings. Your main purpose of the role is to lead and direct the HR team of 6; this will include the L&D and Recruitment teams. You are required to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business. You will be based in the central office however required to travel to various sites including offices in London with overnight stays.

Accountabilities/ Responsibilities-
– Integration and restructuring of acquisition businesses and harmonisation of terms and conditions, policies and procedures
– Oversea complex case work for disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and capability
– Lead on change management and the communication of changes across the business
– Ensure HR`s contribution is strategically relevant and aligned to the commercial goals of the business
– Lead on employee engagement initiatives to reduce staff turnover across the business
– Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently across the business
– Prepare and write monthly Board reports
– Keep up to date with the latest employment legislation and ensure compliance throughout the company
– Ensure the department is working in line with the company Vision and Values at all times

Essential Requirements-
– CIPD qualified
– Experience in business acquisition and integrations
– Proven track record as a generalist HR Manager
– Excellent communication skills at all levels both written and oral
– Proven experience leading and directing a HR department
– Full clean driving licence
