Buyer

Salary: £54,000 per year

Due to continued growth my client is looking for a Buyer to join their team. They are leading electronics business and ideally looking for an individual with previous purchasing and supply chain management experience within the electronics industry.

Buyer role:

Should you be successful at interview stage you will report to the Head of Supply Chain and be responsible for purchasing and quoting. This includes responsibility for supplier relationships, materials estimates & purchasing in line with our quality standards and cost controls as well as the following:

• Purchasing and supply chain strategy
• Commercial agreements are effective and robust
• Daily supplier engagement
• Management and growth of supplier relationships
• Ensure competitive pricing for materials at all times
• Oversee production reports

Buyer requirement:

Proven Purchasing and supply chain experience

Electronics industry experience essential

MRP experience essential

CIPS or MCIPS beneficial

Buyer package:

Salary up to £54,000
