Van technician / Mechanic Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

Temp to Perm – £14.4 – £18 per hour

Our client based in North London are looking to recruit a Van technician / Mechanic Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic.

Van technician / Mechanic Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic responsibilities:-

– To carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to customers vehicles.
– To perform duties in a safe and economical manner in line with HSE and Health and Safety practices.
– Take an active part in creating a positive team environment.
– To ensure all equipment and machinery is regularly checked and kept up to a satisfactory standard.
– To maintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance.
– Hours 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, start at 7am. Overtime available – paid extra.
– Be able to work on a temp to perm basis

Requirements as a Van technician / Mechanic Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic:-

– Qualified in Level 3 Diploma/certificate
– Full clean UK driving license
– MOT tester preferred but not essential.
– Previous experience of working within a franchised dealership is highly desirable but not essential providing you are able to show previous van/motor technician experience
