Embedded Software Engineer – Contract – 6 – 12 months – West Sussex – up to £38ph
A specialist Electronics Design and Manufacturing organisation are now recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer Contractor to work along side the research and development team assisting with developing new and existing products.
Working within a small team the Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for playing a key role in the design of new products, working across the entire product design cycle, assisting with coming up with innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
In order to be considered for the role of Embedded Software Engineer you will have experience of Embedded C programming, low level small microcontroller programming; preferably ARM but could include; MSP430, PIC, embedded real-time operating system e.g. FreeRTOS, embOS, QNX, Nucleus and Neutrino or similar operating system and worked to software standards such as MISRA.
Some exposure to embedded C++ and distributed systems is also desirable.
The position of Embedded Software Engineer is a Contract position for up to 12 month.
The vacancy is based in West Sussex and commutable from Portsmouth, Chichester, Bordon, Fareham, Bognor Regis, Worthing, Petersfield and other parts of Hampshire and Sussex.
