Founded in 1931, they are the UK’s market leader in the provision of parking services, supplying over 200,000 spaces across more than 700 locations nationwide, frequently in partnership with some of the country’s leading public and private sector organisations, including City Councils, local authorities and air and rail travel operators.

Working 5 days out of 7 per week including weekends, the purpose of this role is to supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a frontline team to achieve the financial budget whilst maintaining the prescribed standards of quality and delivering continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead by example whilst continually providing/improving service to the business and customer focused service to the customer/client
Confer with other supervisory or managerial personnel to recommend changes in order to avoid recurring customer complaints
Maintain good communications and consult regularly with your Cluster Manager, the car park staff, seeking assistance and agreeing on actions to resolve outstanding issues
Deputise for the Cluster Manager in their absence
Provide support, advise and direct car parking colleagues in the achievement of their agreed objectives and prescribed core standards
Appraise performance regularly and instigate appropriate remedial action to address shortcomings
Induct new frontline staff including management of the probationary period process. You will train and develop them to be capable of performing to the standard expected by the Company
Maintain good relations with all relevant regulatory authorities and local businesses
Collate and send daily sales reports to your Cluster Manager
Ensure procedures for handling and banking cash is adhered to
Maintain compliance with Company policies on Health & Safety
Monitor the appearance of the designated car park, take action to ensure that Company standards including clean, safe and working are achieved and maintained
Ensure compliance with relevant quality and management standards, and company compliance procedures by regular reviews and audits
Communicate weekly rosters for frontline staff and arrange cover for absence
Work with all managers and staff to implement successful marketing and promotional initiatives to increase sales and maximise income opportunities
Ensure the assigned car parks achieve/exceed budgeted turnover and operating profit and ticket salesTechnical Skills
Numerate and literate.

Experience
Previous experience of customer service environment.
Previous supervisory experience.

Qualifications
A good standard of education.
Full (clean) UK Driver’s License
