Rapid Response Care Worker

Mears Mansfield Branch have been awarded the contract by Nottinghamshire County Council to be the sole provider for domiciliary care in the Mansfield and Ashfield area. We are looking to recruit care workers to join a new Rapid Response team.

The Rapid Response team provides care to service users for up to72 hours following a hospital discharge to allow them to settle back into their home. The team also provides end of life care to service users in their own home. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in the care sector and join our growing team.

This position will involve personal care, food preparation, medication management, low level health care tasks and liaising with external health care professionals such as district nurses, doctors and Palliative Care nurses. You will also facilitate rehabilitation by assisting in the use of new equipment.

We provide each of our support workers a 5 day training course which covers everything from Moving and Positioning training to Dementia and Safeguarding. Due to the nature of this role a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

The shifts offered will either be Mon-Thurs or Thurs-Sun (4 days on, 3 days off). Guarenteed hour contracts are available.
