Residential Child Care Worker

Are you a qualified and experienced children’s residential support worker? Do you have experience supporting children with emotional behavioral difficulties? Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you a patient individual who is able to make a difference in a child’s life?

You will be supporting children and young adults with emotional behavioral difficulties to make sure that they feel supported and safe. Your main focus is to ensure that a caring and nurturing environment is created but most importantly to protect the confidentiality of the young women and their families.

The ideal candidate will:

– have completed an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Child Care or Health and social Care.
– have at least 2 years experience working in a similar field
– hold a full UK driving license

In return, you will:

– have a permanent full time contract
– be entitled to holiday and sick pay
– be inducted and sent on various training courses to broaden you knowledge and help you progress
– start of with a Salary: £26,000per year
