What you’ll do

If you are values driven, passionate about inclusion and developing individuals and teams to maximise performance and potential, join Optivo as an L&OD Practitioner (Development). This role would be working on a fixed term contract for 24 months and working part time for 28 hours per week.

One of the largest housing providers in the UK, Optivo is also a member of the G15 group of London’s biggest housing associations. Currently, we’ve over 45,000 homes across London, the South East and the Midlands, giving 90,000 people somewhere affordable to call their own. And, we’re still growing. Indeed, with a target of 1,500 homes in development every year, there’s never been a better time to join us.

We’re looking for someone with the potential to grow into this exciting role. You’ll work, in collaboration with the business and the other Practitioners, to identify learning and organisational development needs across Optivo and drive the development of learning activities to meet individual, team and organisational needs. Working closely with the wider People team, you’ll design and deliver comprehensive L&OD interventions, activities and learning, offering a true blended approach.

What you’ll need

We’ll nurture and grow your talent and potential into their role where you’ll use influencing and relationship building to identify and fulfil learning needs across the business. You’ll work with colleagues at all levels and collaborate with external providers to manage the contract management cycle.

You’ll get involved with designing and delivering a wide range of learning activity that supports our learning culture, including bespoke and digital programmes. Ideally you’ll have dipped your toe in the water in the learning and organisational development arena and be ready to achieve your potential with our support. You’ll also be a competent user of the Microsoft Office suite of applications and have experience of digital learning environments.
