Health and Safety Manager

Health and Safety Advisor- Bristol
Our client is seeking a Health and safety manager with broad experience in providing property and construction-related health and safety services.
This is an exciting challenge for somebody to take forward a vacant role as a service leader with the Bristol business. It is an opportunity to support their existing health and safety instructions in the region, assisting other teams within the company.
The role will involve dealing with a range of commissions from long term projects to short term instructions for a variety of clients.
The post is suited to an individual with previous Health and safety experience in construction. They should be capable of delivering the services required from our existing clients, as well as developing the income streams to grow the service area within our well respected professional consulting business.
The successful applicant must have the following:
• Ideally GradIOSH to Chartered status with RMaPS.
• Experience in the MOD sector preferable. Must have worked on MOD projects.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate;
• Proven track record of a similar role within the private or public sector;
• An understanding of clients requirements and an ability to communicate directly with them at all levels; and
• Positive attitude towards health and safety and an enthusiastic approach.
• Retail experience also preferable.
