THE BUSINESS
Mackenzie Stuart is pleased to continue the strong relationship with this leading UK contractor specialising in the Residential arena. Focusing on Social Housing, Private Developments, Mixed Use, Student Accommodation and Care Homes, the organisation is seeking to strengthen their operational team following an influx in tender opportunities and secured work. THE ROLE
*As Operations Director, the successful applicant will take the reigns for a portfolio of projects and will ultimately be responsible for the successful delivery of the projects.
*Typical projects range from £10-20 million across the sectors and the individual will have a fantastic knowledge of the delivery sequences and challenges faced with Residential developments.
*They will lead an Operations team of Project Directors and Project Managers through the project life cycle.
*Being an integral point of contact for the client, the individual will ensure that a strong relationship is maintained through providing a time efficient and cost effective process.
*Additionally, they will design and implement the operational strategies for the region.
*Overall control over the Health and Safety and maintaining the low levels of Accidents with the support of the HSE team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
*A strong portfolio of over 4 years within the Residential arena working on developments from £3-25 million.
*Experience as a Director for over 3 years for a main contractor.
*Member of the Chartered Institute for Building is encouraged.
*Educated to degree level or higher in a Construction biased discipline.
