A world class ISO9001, market leader in the manufacture of automatic combustion equipment is seeking an Electrical Automation Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer to join its rapidly expanding firm, which exports to over 40 countries worldwide and serves a broad range of blue chip customers.
The successful Electrical Automation Engineer will work full time, earning a competitive salary dependant on experience.
As an Electrical Automation Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer you will work with your team in order to develop new products to the company’s high standards. In addition, the successful Electrical Design Engineer’s core duties will include:
- Evaluating customer requirements and developing into solutions
- Interface to manufacturing departments
- Control panel design
- PLC programming
- Interfacing with customers and suppliers
- Providing technical support to engineers and customers
- Research and development
The ideal Electrical Automation Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer will have demonstrable experience in a similar role with proven success. In addition you will also possess the following:
- Experience in Autocad Electrical will be advantageous
- Knowledge of BS 7671 (wiring regs) and BS EN 60204 (machine safety) would be advantageous
- Attention to detail
- Ability to overcome problems as they arise
- Passionate about your work
