Trainee Machine Operator

Salary: £14.57 – £16.56 per hour

Our client based in Westbury are seeking a Trainee Machine Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Salary:

Depending on Experience

The Role:

• Ensuring the machine is running as it should be
• Reel changes
• Basic maintenance
• Packing duties
• Monitoring, maintaining, and reporting hygiene and quality issues
• Achieving production targets and recording performance
• Recording and reporting waste
• Recording information for Quality Assurance including allergen control

About You:

• As a successful candidate you will have an understanding of manufacturing processes as well as of Health & Safety requirements.
• You must be able to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
• You will have a production based background
• A mechanical engineering background would be advantageous
• And you should be self-motivated with a positive & professional attitude

The Hours:

This position will be working 37.5 hours per week on a three-shift rotating system.
