FLT Counterbalance / Machine Operator

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Flt driver / machine operator to work with my client in Low Moor, Bradford.

The roles are long term temporary on-going roles.

Hours are currently 06:00 am to 6pm (two days) then 6pm – 6am for two nights then four days off however you must be flexible.

The role includes duties such as;

– Setting cell machines in accordance with SOPs and actively working to continuously improve this process
– Operate cell machines to optimum efficiencies and work in accordance to SOP`s
– Maintain the highest standard of housekeeping
– Complete accurate documentation required in line with the business needs
– Ensure that all parts and materials are correctly labelled after inspection and moved to the appropriate area
– Good communication will exist between operator and cell leader at all times to ensure that any issues affecting the performance of the cell are addressed without delay
– Basic knowledge of cell maintenance Key Skills and Qualities:

– Experience of setting and operating machine lines
– Keen eye for detail
– Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
– Able to work alone and as part of a team
– Positive attitude
– Good communication skills
– A desire to continuously improve the operation of the cell in line with business targets

MUST have;

– FLT Counterbalance – ideally refreshed in last 3 years.

The work can be extremely physical and involves heavy lifting.

Pay is £14.4, plus an extremely competitive shift allowance of £3.01 + overtime available £30,326 per annum.
