The role
The difference our new Commercial Manager will make
As a Commercial Manager you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll work in a first-of-its kind Reactor Decommissioning Project; this is an exciting role which will make a big impact on Cavendish’s commercial and financial bottom line.
Day to day, you’ll provide commercial expertise and guidance to project staff and other project commercial staff, developing contractual entitlement-based claims and compensation events. You’ll work with the Head of Commercial and relevant project/contract/bid teams to develop and drive a risk based commercial strategy.

This role provides hybrid working arrangements with generally 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home however, regular travel to Scotland will be required.
Essential experience
* Educated to degree level with Law degree or Quantity Surveyor qualification, or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
* Good contractual experience
* Use of NEC3 contracts-ideally using CEMAR
* Established amount of experience within a role at the same level
* Proven success in commercially managing large-scale projects and complex change initiatives using appropriate methodologies
* Ideally Nuclear but will look at someone from a highly regulated industry background
