Research Associate – Central London – Think Tank Consultancy

Salary – £48,000 – £58,800per annum

Research Associate required to perform research projects focusing on retail and technology. MY client, a Think Tank Consultancy are looking for a Research associate to produce content and conduct research working as part of a busy innovative team.

You will ideally have a background in financial or equity research with experience analysing online retail (ecommerce).

As my clients Research Associate you will contribute ideas for new projects and publications so keeping up to date with news and emerging trends will be essential.

Key Skills:

* Experience of undertaking analysis on retailing and especially online retailing (e-commerce), with a solid knowledge of companies, trends, themes and market performance.
* Strong knowledge of would be an advantage.
* A minimum of five years of working experience in business research, ideally with background in equity research.
* Expert-level analytical skills, preferably including financial modelling skills.
* Demonstrated strong writing, oral communication and analytical skills.
* Experience of analysing companies and/or consumer markets.
* Excellent writing skills, including experience of writing for publication.
* A Master’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Finance or other quantitative disciplines, MBA or CFA would be an advantage.
