DevOps Engineer

Salary: £66,000 – £78,000 per year

Synchro are working with a well-known, highly recognisable and reputable brand in the highstreet and online retail sector. They are a household name and are currently on a huge digital transformation journey.

We are seeking a highly skilled, DevOps Engineer to join this extremely innovative and successful team within a business who are not only performing exceptionally well, but also experiencing significant growth.

You will have solid experience across Azure Cloud and have experience with a wide range of technologies and tools, to include (but not limited to); Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Python, Bash, Docker and AKS. It would be great if you have prior experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI / CD). Further to this, any Kubernetes experience would be advantageous although not essential.

You will have exemplary communication skills. You will engage with colleagues of all levels and differing technical abilities. You will be passionate and highly enthused about your work, and you will find it very easy to articulate exactly what you do, and why you do it.

This role is based out of the organisations Portsmouth office, however remote working is very much on offer as part of a blended approach of remote working and office-based work.

There is a large bonus on offer as well as profit share which is paid out every year. You will also benefit from a generous company pension, 25 days annual leave +8 Bank Holidays. You will also benefit from health insurance and private medical cover.

What we are looking for:

An experienced DevOps Engineer with a wide and varied technical skillet.
Strong Azure Cloud experience.
Solid experience across a range of modern DevOps tools (as listed in the description above).
Exemplary communication skills.
A keen desire and passion to grow your skillset and knowledge around tooling.

ROLE: DevOps Engineer

LOCATION: Portsmouth – Currently remote due to Covid-19. Role to be a blend of home /remote & office based when restrictions are eased.

SALARY: £66,000 – £78,000base salary – Plus excellent benefits including a generous pension, excellent bonus, flexible working.
