School Teachers needed for placements in schools based in the Newport City and Blaenau Gwent area. You will be a dedicated practitioner who is skilled at encouraging children to maximise their potential, with a welcoming presence in the classroom while supportive and helpful to children, parents and staff alike.
Apollo Teaching Services are a nationwide company who have 6 offices across South Wales. Your local office in Cwmbran holds Consultants who specialise in Secondary, Primary and SEN Education. We are able to find both short and long term placements for our Teaching staff, in a number of schools across the South East to Mid Wales area. We are currently looking for Teachers with a range of experience from Foundation phase through to KS5, and are happy to employ NQT’s.

To be considered for this position of Teacher you must:

• Have experience in teaching.
• Be educated to degree level e.g. PGCE or equivalent
• Hold Qualified Teacher status (QTS) or be a newly qualified teacher (NQT)
• Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) formally known as GTCW (General Teaching Council Of Wales)
• Have great subject knowledge, a passion for delivering lessons of a high calibre and teach all areas of curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Have great classroom management skills with the aptitude to accommodate all levels of learning and ability.
• Able to fit in and adhere to the schools ethos.
• Flexible approach to the timetable as may be required to cover other subject’s areas as and when needed.
• Staying up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
