Salary: £26,400 – £32,400 per year
We have an immediate requirement for an engineering geologist for UK leading geo environmental and geotechnical engineering organisation in Leeds. The role will be primarily site based and the successful candidate will enjoy working on a variety of infrastructure and brownfield regeneration projects across Northern England.
Suitable candidates will have consultancy or specialist contractor experience with geotechnical and environmental site investigations, site walkovers and associated desk studies. In this post you will oversee intrusive ground investigations, manage drilling crews, liaise with site staff, prepare phase 1 and phase 2 factual and interpretive reports. Additional duties may include client liaison and commercial development.
Applicants are required to have a solid academic background in on of the following disciplines: BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering.
