Salary: £84,000 per year
This role will involve the delivery of a full financial and accounting service, providing analysis and understanding of P & L and balance sheet. As a member of the Senior Management Team, taking responsibly for a broad range of management related responsibilities alongside other members of the SMT.
FINANCE DIRECTOR

FULL TIME PERMANENT
UP TO £70K DOE PLUS 10% BONUS
THE ROLE
* Leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of accounts, including updates to the Board
* Ensuring Balance Sheet and P&L are correct
* Preparing rolling budgets and forecasts
* Reporting on P&L
* Audit duties to include providing all information requested and full explanations to any questions.
* Payroll – overseeing submissions along with payments and journal entries along with forecasting
* Posting all Journals – DEP, Accruals, Prepayments, Deferred Revenue & Corrections
* Managing and supporting sub-ledgers
* Manage, support and develop the finance team in order to achieve successful audits
* Involved in stock control, stocktake and cell ordering
* Managing banking including credit cards, payments and eBay
* Lead for facilitation of IT related issues and provision of hardware
* Management of sub-ledger team and ensure successful audits
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* An accountancy qualification such as CIMA or ACMA
* Experience of running a finance team, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
* Advanced user of Excel and competent in developing and applying databases
* Experience of working with SAP or a similar small business management system would be advantageous
* Desirable to have experience of working in a multi-national and /or matrix type organisation
