Parts Van Sales Person

To be considered for this role, you must have knowledge of either Agricultural or Plant Machinery, or Automotive parts.

Location:
Peterborough Depot based. Territory area includes; Cambridgeshire, Newmarket, Corby, Wellingborough and South.

The post comes with a Van, Mobile and Laptop.

Basic Salary and OTE’s:

£16,800.00 per annum (currently under review) OTE realistic £26,000 per year.

+ 10% commission on Parts sales generated in the field and through front counter.
+ Overtime (on an as and when basis and overtime is not guaranteed)
+ Guaranteed commission payments of £26,000 per year for a 6 month period
+ Target based Parts Incentive Campaign payments, if targets achieved

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

This is a customer facing role which requires you to build strong customer relationships within the parts sales sector of the business to new and existing customers.

You will be expected to promote, sell and deliver parts within the defined territory to meet company targets whilst adhering to company policies and procedures.

You will on occasion need to present a parts solution to the customer and frequently liaise with the Manufacturer, to ensure you provide a first class level of customer service to the customer.

Duties:

Build strong and positive relationships with customer
Build and document knowledge about the customer business and technical setup on an as and when basis
Feedback any important customer information to the company
To sell and promote the current range of parts within the defined franchise territory and meet company targets
Deliver Parts in response to customer requests and in a timely manner
Maintain correct van stock levels
Complete weekly customer call sheets accurately and in a timely manner
Support promotional activities including quarterly Parts campaign incentives vs targets
To meet and exceed customer expectations whilst maintaining profitability
Establish and maintain good levels of communication within and outside the business
Complete all Parts administration accurately and in a timely manner
