Role Title: Store Manager, High Street Outlet Store
JOB ROLE
The role as a Store Manager for a High Street Outlet for this major business is to maximize the sales and profit performance of your store. Through the effective development and management of all store managers, company processes, sales opportunities and the effective deployment of available resources on your area you will succeed in this role.
You will be accountable for the management of all our clients processes in your area. You will be responsible for strong KPI delivery and the overall P&L performance achievement for your area. Having already proven yourself in an area management role, youll be self-motivated and willing to lead by example.
This role is an excellent opportunity to work within an expanding and exciting brand which is No1 in its sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Previous experience of successfully managing in an retail area management role
Excellent relationship building skills
Excellent time management skills
Able to ensure Customer Service Excellence is being provided in all stores
Great organisational capabilities and the ability to pay great attention to detail
Self motivated
Personal pride and Professional image
Influencing and negotiating skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage financial performance of a retail area
You will ideally have store management experience in a large turnover and square footage retail store environment along with multi-site regional experience
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to people, process and ensuring a fast and efficient service to customers. You will have the ability to motivate and coach your store teams and have an inspirational leadership style. The successfully candidate will represent this brand in a positive and motivated manner in line with their strong core values.
A proven track record of managing a successful retail area
A confident and effective communicator with excellent decision making skills
Passion for retail and delivering high levels of customer service at all times
Ability to engage talent, build team spirit and challenge goals
Demonstrating commercial awareness, providing information and analysis
Ability to build relationships and implement to maintain standards
Display self motivation in the achievement of goals
Lead by example with a Can Do attitude
Exposure of managing at least £8million, whether as a Store / Deputy or Assistant Manager
Experience within a high street retail environment, across fashion, non-food or food, or a combination of the above
Experience within a high volume and fast paced environment, with strong people management exposure
Honest, straightforward and fair in dealings with customers and colleagues
Ability to manage and deliver performance
Competitor awareness with a high degree of commercial acumen and a strategic vision
Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise to achieve tangible results
