Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Our client who specialise in the manufacture and supply of decorative panels has an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their busy team. The purpose of this role is to respond to engineering related breakdowns and support continuous improvement initiatives around site. The main focus of this role is the corrective and preventative maintenance of equipment and machinery and also project related engineering tasks. Reporting to the Maintenance Co-ordinator candidates will be experienced in the Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance of machinery with the emphasis being on mechanical maintenance

Candidate profile
Candidate Profile As part of the maintenance team you will be a self- starter assuming responsibility for all company engineering related maintenance including attending breakdowns, faulting finding and correction, internal repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, servicing machinery in a timely manner, the repair and overhaul of plant and tools economically and efficiently limiting down time, carrying out minor welding and painting tasks and any other tasks as directed by your line manager.
