Supply Chain Coordinator

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

The Role

Proeon are looking for a keen & enthusiastic team player who can adapt their skills and experience towards the successful role of Procurement specialist, providing a range of procurement administrative and accounting support services for the Company’s projects.

Specific responsibilities including:

• Supply Chain’s first line point of contact with suppliers
• Submission & expediting of RFQ’s to suppliers
• Internal guidance on preferred supplier to meet project & business needs
• Order placement against Project Manager / Engineer requisitions

Supply chain management:

• Building & maintaining supply chain relations with existing & new suppliers
• Performing pre-qualification & negotiating supplier agreements
• KPI monitoring & recording of supplier performance and targets
• Control & monitor company procedures / processes surrounding procurement

Required areas of knowledge include:

• Good practical knowledge & experience using Excel spreadsheets
• Understanding / appreciation of business finance processes

The Person

We are looking for a person with the following skills and qualifications: 

• PC literate in MS products: Word, Excel
• Excellent attention to detail in both written and numerical work
• Good communication skills – verbal & written
• Positive attitude & drive to succeed
• Ability to plan, organise & prioritize workload efficiently & effectively.
• Good time management with strong delivery performance.
• Assess, manage and resolve problems/issues
• Commercial awareness
• Adaptability to work as part of a team & on own individual merits
• Willingness to learn & develop further, with expanding roles / responsibilities as the business grows.
