Quality Technician / Engineer

We are working with a leading developer of radar products and systems. They are looking to recruit a Quality Technician or Quality Engineer to join their business.

You will be a key member of the Quality Systems team, heavily involved in the day-to-day quality activities of the business. This is a hands on role providing Product Quality Support, Control and Assurance across the business in all aspects of ISO 9001:2015.

Experience Required:

Proven experience in a Quality Engineering position, with at least 5 years’ experience in such a role within defence, aerospace or automotive industries
Holds an appropriate recognised quality qualification and a demonstrable track record of achievements in improving quality performance
Strong problem solving skills
Engineering background with a qualification in electro / mechanical engineering ideally of degree level
Ideally qualified ISO auditor ISO 9001:2015
Knowledge of ESD protocols, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620 is beneficial
Knowledge of ISO 14001, Marine Equipment Directive (MED) and AQAPs is beneficial
Understanding of product quality assurance processes such as APQP, PPAP and FAI
Knowledge of Q-Pulse BMS tool would be an advantage
Excellent report writing skills
