We are currently working with an education provider in the South West London area who are looking for an Engineering Assessor to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be asked to join the education provider’s Engineering team, and will travel to workplaces in the South West London area (within 15 miles of the centre) in order to coach and assess apprentices in the workplace, studying the Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard. Your primary role will be assessment of engineering apprentices in the workplace although you may be required to teach theoretical and practical workshop sessions relating to a variety of topics to Engineering / Maintenance students. Your caseload would comprise of 50-60 apprentices, and you would be able to manage your own diary to get around them all.

The starting salary for this position will be between £26,475.6 and £39,524 per annum, and the package would also include a teacher’s pension, business mileage, and a 37 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays and 5 additional days of well-being flexi leave).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A relevant level 3 Engineering qualification
-Good Engineering industry experience
-An Assessor award
-Previous experience of assessing apprentices
