Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year
Our client, a leading specialist in their field, have an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Logistics Support Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working closely with other departments such as Supply Chain, Through Life Support and Project Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of all ILS activities within the company.
The main responsibilities will be to provide input into project tenders, as well as the overall smooth running and delivery of ILS activities to support numerous projects, including but not be limited to; selection and management of ILS suppliers, delivery of ILS plans, timely and accurate delivery of all ILS documentation and providing reports to senior management.
The ideal candidate will be commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills. You would be experienced in Project Management, Integrated Logistics Support and Defence Procurement as well as holding a project management qualification such as APMP or PRINCE2. You would ideally also have experience in Supportability Analysis and Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis and be an experienced LEAN practitioner.
The company has a hard-working but friendly atmosphere, so you should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
You should also be eligible for UK security clearance.
