Stores Parts Person

Salary: £31,200 per year

Pyramid8 are currently working with a well-established Plant & Fleet company. Due to internal promotion, they are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores / Parts person to join their growing depot in Castleford.

As a Stores / Parts person, you will be responsible for communicating with the service team regarding parts for expected jobs, which you will order when required. You will be responsible for carrying out stock level checks, including a full stock check every 6 months. You will be liable for delivering goods into stores and obtaining delivery receipts, you will also be required to create purchase orders and record ingoing and outgoing goods accurately. In doing this you will ensure all systems are accurately updated. You will have a daily duty to prepare materials for operatives, booking these out on the computer system.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role within a Stores / Parts environment. As a key member of the team, you must have effective communication skills, being able to work closely with the team and other departments. You must be accurate and have a high level of attention to detail, being able to prioritise own workload. You must be computer literate and able to learn new systems quickly. A full driver’s licence is required due to driving vehicles and transporting parts.

You will receive a salary of £31,200, with optional paid overtime. You can also take part in their cycle to work scheme. Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm, 40-hour week. There are progression opportunities within the business.
