Transport Administrator

Salary: £27,600 per year

Pyramid8 are working with their client in Leeds who are a leading Transport Company who have been established for over 100 years.

This is a new role to add to their growing Pallex team. The role is to organise drivers and vehicles to meet customer requirements.

49.5 hours including Saturday on a rota (1in 3)

Duties and responsibilities:

* Processing delivery/collection notes

* Communicate with customers/drivers/warehouse via phone and email

* Respond to incoming emails

* Use of tracking system to update and follow vehicle progress

* Planning routes

* Planning work loads

* Working closely with traffic planners

Required experience:

* Experience or knowledge of the Pallex is essential

* Good understanding of transport

* Be able to work under own initiative but also to work as a team

* Be proactive
