The Purpose
This Junior CAD Technician role will be part of a large team who work to improve the quality of water and the environment throughout the UK. They are at the cutting edge of new technology and design methodology that is being used to update and improve sanitation and drinking water to ultimately improve the quality of water in the environment.

The Company
This is a large organisation with small teams and offices throughout the World. What this means is that you get the security, investment and development associated with working for a big company but also have the friendly team environment of smaller companies.

The Team
The team you will be joining are fun and very supportive. They work hard of course but they also have a friendly environment where everyone can flourish. The Team Leader is a seasoned CAD professional with a great sense of humour and supportive nature. She has a team of international CAD Techs from places as far afield as New Zealand, India and much of Europe!

About You
The number one thing you will need to be successful in this role is enthusiasm. They need somebody who can become a sponge and learn their trade in CAD. An HNC / HND within a technical discipline would be an advantage. You will have a passion for engineering and will be flexible enough to learn new things. The team will teach you everything you’ll need to know although a strong base knowledge of engineering is preferred.

The Package
This role offers a base Salary: £26,000. The company offer all sorts of benefits at various levels of your employment which will be explained further later on. The most important thing on offer is the knowledge, training, development and support you will be given.
