Salary: £45,600 – £54,000 per year

A fantasic opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain and Operations Manager with my client a rapidly growing, dynamic and innovative consumer business based in London. My client has a multi-million pound turnover and is a global brand.

As the Supply Chain and Operations Manager you will be responsible for the logistics and overall supply chain for the business, managing and leading procurement and shipping for all stock. You will be tasked with ensuring cost effective delivery of product, in full and on time, to both the warehouse, and to customer’s warehouses.

Your responsibilities will include the following;

Manage the supply chain from order placement to receipt of goods ensuring delivery of product to specification, in full and on time.

* Lead, motivate, train and encourage Operations Executives/Assistants.
* Collaboration with suppliers – developing and maintaining excellent supplier relationships.
* Work collaboratively with sales team on projections/forecasts.
* Work with factories in the Far East, Europe, and UK on all PO placement and management.
* Manage stock levels of finished goods
* Management of stock movement worldwide, – ensure competitive cost for on-time delivery.
* Ownership of demand planning across all SKU’s: retail and samples.
* Organisation of annual stock-take across warehouses, and supervision of web processing via 3PL warehouse during stock-take period.
* Analysis of SKU performance and freight costs to gain cost savings.
* Management of freight and imports across the business. Applying understanding of customs procedures and regulations in UK and USA
* Manage production schedules

The ideal candidate will have the following;

* Evidence of proactively having taken initiatives to improve business efficiency or performance
* Minimising controllable costs, and keeping within budget Quality and timeliness of communication with relevant parties
* Degree qualified or equivalent working experience
* Use of SAP
* Excellent commercial awareness and knowledge
* Previous supply chain management and operations experience ideally from a FMCG environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to use independent judgement
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
* Charismatic relationship builder
