ACCOUNT & PROJECT MANAGER – MARKETING AGENCY

Birmingham – up to £24,000pa

A great opportunity has arisen within an award winning Marketing Agency, for an Account or Project Manager with experience in the marketing agency field, to manage, develop and nurture established, prospect and new client accounts across a broad range of sectors, delivering a range of first class, digital marketing strategies.

This is a rapidly expanding, award winning, full service Marketing Agency focussed on delivering creative and performance enhancing projects across the core services of inbound marketing, digital, print and web design. Due to continued success, they are appointing additional team members to further strengthen their growth strategy and now seek TWO Account Managers to join the team as soon as possible.

Undertaking a varied and highly responsible role, the Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing accounts through strategic project management on a day to day basis. Closely understanding the clients’ needs through a continual stream of communication between the client, your colleagues and suppliers, your ability to manage projects from initial brief, to research and final delivery is absolutely crucial. In addition, you will be juggling a number of tasks and projects simultaneously, so your time management and organisational skills and ability to forecast and track key account metrics will be put to the test. Of course, you will also be technically astute, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, preparing quotes, invoices and other reports on a regular basis.

We’re looking for a charismatic individual with a professional demeanour and an enthusiastic and confident approach. A passionate marketer with solid marketing agency experience, you will be comfortable operating across the full marketing mix from conventional to digital disciplines. Naturally, you need to demonstrate creativity and outstanding communication and presentation skills and assure us of your ability to organise your own workload as well as those of junior staff whilst remaining willing to support others in the team where necessary.

You will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, ideally in a creative discipline and you should possess a number of years’ experience of working with clients in a B2B capacity. Experience of using email systems, such as dotMailer, Campaign Monitor and MailChimp would be of particular interest, along with a good understanding of CMS and WordPress. Of absolutely critical importance for this role is to have a full grasp of Social Media and SEO
