NEW CHANNEL ACCOUNT MANAGER VACANCY – Stoke on Trent

We are urgently seeking candidates to fulfil 2x urgent vacancies our client is currently recruiting for at their luxurious sales offices in Stoke on Trent. Our client is one of the UK’s leading specialists of IT Security Distribution supplying direct in to Resellers, VARs and Systems Integrators to the UK and throughout mainland Europe.

Channel Account Managers are being sought to grow and develop the UK Channel Team by pro-actively hunting new business via marketing data and leads provided to you, and developing these in to active and buying accounts. Channel Account Managers will enjoy a 360 degree role where you will be responsible for sales, after sales care, customer services and administration for your clients as well as targeted on renewals against competitive strain.

Channel Account Managers will be largely internally/telephone-based therefore it is essential that all candidates have a strong and professional telephone manner in addition to:
A minimum of 1-2 years experience selling IT Technology (Hardware, Software and/or Services on behalf of an IT Reseller, Distributor or Broker
A proven track record in B2B new business/cold-calling sales
A driven and hungry approach to their work
A proven track record of meeting sales-based targets
Good understanding of IT or IT Security
Desire to progress in to a product specialist or field sales role
Commutable distance to Stoke on Trent (20 miles)

Package:
Starting Basic Salary: £26,000
