Salary: £26,000 – £26,400 per year
Our client is an established payroll bureau based near central Burton. Due to ongoing success, they are looking to appoint an extra Payroll clerk to complement their existing team:
General duties will entail:
* Working on several payrolls for a wide variety of clients
* Using knowledge of statutory payments, calculating SSP, SMP, etc
* Working with auto-enrolment
* Ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
* Working with word, excel and email
* Using BACS for payments
* Addressing any anomolies
* HMRC & RTI submissions
* Keeping payroll information updated
* Ad hoc duties as may be required
In order to carry out this interesting and varied role, candidates should be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a small team. You should also have a good knowledge of payroll legislation and have worked with payroll previously.
