Salary: £26,000 per year
M65Jobsaerch are working with a well-established employer in Blackburn, offering temp to perm positions for the right person based on days. Five minutes off the M65 with free parking and a basic canteen.
Purpose: – To carry out general work tasks excluding mixing operations. Such duties include the finishing of manufactured goods through potting, labelling and packing, cleaning and maintenance task and transporting goods and materials. All duties are to be carried out in accordance with company procedures and safe systems of work where relevant.
Reporting To: – Supervisors
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Carry out labelling, potting, decanting, packing and palletising of materials and goods.
* Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks including but not exclusively, cleaning of vessels, packed products, cleaning equipment, sweeping and cleaning floors, processing waste materials and emptying bins / filling skips.
* Transport goods and materials around the site to aid the workflow of the business.
* Complete batch sheets and any other production related paperwork accurately and process these correctly.
* Assist in the effluent plant as directed by supervisors.
* Assist during stock taking as directed by supervisors.
* Carry out additional duties as directed by the supervisors to help ensure the smooth running of production operations.
* Immediately report any faults or concerns relating to equipment or procedures to supervisors.
* Support the production management team in promoting and ensuring a safe, functioning and tidy environment.
