We are offering an exciting digital design placement opportunity within our digital and marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to come and join Argos for a 1 year placement at a time of change and transformation.

You’ll be part of a team that design and develop our web pages, mobile applications and in store devices. With a keen eye for detail and an understanding of branding, the work you own and become involved in will be seen in the public eye. With a passion for digital you will need to be creative as well as confident to deal with people at all levels of business; not afraid to challenge the status quo. This is an exciting time to be part of a dynamic team developing our social media application.

About Argos
is a leading multi-channel retailer. We sell more than 32,000 products and serve more than 130 million customers per year through our stores, home delivery and digital channels (web, mobile and tablet). We receive over 1m visits to our digital channels per day, but we don’t want to stop there!

About The Team – Digital Design, Development & Innovation
This team design how our digital channels and communications look and feel; they are the people that develop ways to improve the customer experience, through all digital channels including website, mobile and tablet apps and digital technology in store. They manage all customers email communications and work with partner/affiliate websites to drive customer visits to our website.

About this opportunity
There are a number of teams that make up our digital function; all play a key role in transforming Argos into a digital retail leader. If you are successful in securing a placement year with us, you will be working within our Digital Design, Development & Innovation team.
