THE CLIENT
My client specialises in providing high quality, affordable homes as a housing association/ developer.
Established for over 50 years they have earned an enviable reputation for innovation and staff focus, having ranked continually within the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies list.
Their title is that of both housing association and contractor, enabling them to span the market and develop both private residential schemes alongside affordable housing.
As one of the largest residential property developers my client enjoys stability, having enjoyed over half a century of growth and achievement.

THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for 3 other members of the team, each running separate developments. The first is valued at £65M and consists of a residential led mixed use scheme, inclusive of a commercial element of 366 units. Secondly, a 232 unit solely residential scheme valued at £35M and finally a £17.5M 60 unit residential scheme.
Alongside these projects the technical manager will be responsible for a 300 unit residential led mixed-use scheme including commercial space. This project is valued at £55M.
The role will be split across both site and office, both of which are located in the East London area.
Primary responsibilities will include overseeing and coordinating the 3 members of the team who will report to you. You will form a key part of the development delivery team assisted by full support from the technical department, reporting directly to the technical director.
You will be responsible for the delivery of high standard working/construction packages and ensuring the prompt delivery of your responsibilities through effective consultation with all relevant departments.

THE RIGHT INDIVIDUAL
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years industry relevant experience with a demonstrable track record of delivery as a technical manager within the residential sector.
My client is looking for someone with experience of schemes of a similar size and previous employment history must include experience within the private residential or contractor sector, encompassing residential aspects.
You will join an exciting, diverse team and should therefore be able to work well either individually or as part of a group.
