Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year
The Company
A leader in the supply and ongoing support in the pumps arena, supplying engineered solutions to a range of industries including; mining, marinas, oil and gas & power industry
The Role
An applications engineer to work from the office dealing with customer enquiries to aid them in the sourcing and selection of suitable pumping solutions for their projects.
You will be involved in;
Selecting pumps, valves and control equipment as per customer specification
Pricing of various pump/equipment packages
Preparation of proposals in consultation with customers and internal departments
Providing technical & engineering support to internal and external communications
Managing and organising projects from initial enquiry, proposal generation and product/project delivery & installation.
The Candidate
Degree qualified with good working experience in an internal technical sales, application engineer or proposals engineering position within the pumps industry.
A strong communicator with experience dealing with both internal and external communications. Also possessing the ability to produce complex and professional technical proposals and quotations.
You will be comfortable with a range of engineering calculations including; flow rate, pressure etc..
The Package
Dependant on skills and experience.
£25,000 – £30,000 – Pumps and applications engineering experience
£30,000+ – Strong pumps and applications engineering experience as well as managerial capabilities and experience.
