I’ve partnered with a family run business who due to growth are seeking an experience Night Traffic Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

* Responsible for briefing/de-briefing drivers
* Dealing with any incidents that arise during shift
* Route, re-route, plan and adjust jobs/drivers for maximum economy and revenue.
* Quote customers for ad hoc work
* General admin with customer paperwork/queries
* Ability to foresee problems and react accordingly

The person

* Must be competent with Excel, Google Sheets, hand held technology, tracking and some customer systems.
* Experience within a similar role in transport
* Have knowledge of drivers hours regulations
* Ability to foresee problems and react accordingly
* FLT license and HGV license would be advantageous

Expected to be on call (£130 per weekend) 10 weekends p.a. (phone calls from security staff/customers when problems arise)
